The Catalan publishing sector at London Book Fair 2021

The London Book Fair, one of the most prestigious book fairs on the international publishing scene, is being held this year in virtual format, from 21 June to 1 July. The Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies and the Institut Ramon Llull are organising various activities at the fair to promote Catalan literature and internationalisation of the publishing sector.

The Ramon Llull Foundation Awards are back, postponed last year due to COVID-19

The Ramon Llull Foundation Board met virtually on Thursday 17th June. At the meeting, the accounts from 2020 and the 2021 budget were approved, it was agreed that the Ramon Llull Foundation Awards shall return for 2021 and the Institut Ramon Llull's lines of approach were presented. Vicenç Villatoro, the Foundation's director since 2011, has resigned from the role for personal reasons.

Residency Faberllull is launching a new call for applications for professionals

Faberllull is a network of residences of arts, sciences and humanities located in the cites of Olot (Catalonia) and La Massana (Andorra) managed by the Institut Ramon Llull in collaboration with Olot's town council and the Governement of Andorra. It is a place for professionals from the Arts, Sciences or Humanities fields (writers, translators, artists of diverse disciplines, scholars and scientists and so on) come to work on their personal projects for a time.

Scriptwriting: Two weeks of working, living and collaborating together at Faberllull
