'The Mystery of the Pink Flamingos' and 'La Mami' at SXSW - CANCELLED

The SXSW Film Festival (March 13-22, Austin, Texas) has announced its lineup which includes two Catalan productions: 'The Mystery of the Pink Flamingos' and 'La Mami'. The festival features a high caliber and diverse film lineup, and its programming ranges from independent films by new filmmakers to Hollywood comedies and genre standouts.

The film directed by Javier Polo, The Mystery of the Pink Flamingos (Japonica Films, Los Hermanos Polo) will be premiered at the Global section, that includes a diverse selection of International filmmaking talent, featuring innovative narratives, artful documentaries, premieres, and festival favorites.The project was selected at Sunny Side of the Doc and Foro Lau Haizetara in 2018.

Also, La Mami, by  Laura Herrero (Gadea, Cacerola Films), premiered at IDFA, has been selected to participate in the same section.
