The residence will be at faberLlull Olot from 12 to 23 April 2021
The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has put us face-to-face with many questions. Some are new, other were already put to us before this healthcare crisis. In an increasingly technological society, we have to think about what humanities and what humanism we need to explain the human being and the changes faced. Hospitals, primary care centres and senior care centres have been on the front line of these debates. We want to understand what humanities means and reflect on their contribution to developing a more critical consciousness regarding social, cultural, political, economic, ecological, biologic and cognitive problems in the scientific and technical arena.
From this general view, and using the concept of digital humanities, we hope to debate on the multi-directional relationships created among these disciplines and focus on applications for humanities in the health sciences and teaching. During the stay, residents will work and reflect on the intersections of science, technology and the humanities.
So, Faberllull Olot is calling all researchers working in this field. The projects must fall under in the lines of work and thought discussed above.
The residence will be at Faberllull Olot from 12 to 23 April 2021.
